A Mobile Policeman has broken an arm and a leg after he was knocked off a bridge and into a canal at Oshodi area of Lagos.
The Mobile Policeman, David Zabanayi, was knocked off the bridge on Airport Road, as he and other traffic enforcement officers tried to impound a car that drove against traffic.
David Zabanayi managed to miss crashing into the concrete base of the bridge, as he landed in the muddy water.
The reckless the driver responsible for the accident, Sunday Okodo, is to face trial before a Mobile Court at Oshodi.
The General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Olajide Oduoye, confirmed the incident to Lasgidi FM News Desk.
