The Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan says suspected bandits have killed 23 persons in attacks across five local government areas of the state.
The commissioner in a statement said the attacks occurred in Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Chikun, Igabi and Kauru Local Government Areas.
He said 10 people were killed and three others were injured at Ungwan Gajere community of Kutemeshi ward of Birnin Gwari Local Government, while one person was shot dead between Sarkin Baka and Dankyawai village in Igabi Local Government Area.
