The United States government says it has plans to ensure the growth of women in Nigeria, especially in the area of technology.
US Consul General, Claire Pierangelo, made this known at an event in Lagos to mark this year’s International Women’s Day.
Pierangelo said the US intends to empower women with skills and mentoring through its Tech Women Nigeria Mentoring programme.
Lasgidi FM’s Chukwuemeka Obioma also spoke with some women who shared different views on how the knowledge of technology can help women to break gender bias.
