World Bank projects 2.5 percent economic growth for Nigeria in 2022

The World Bank has projected a 2.5 percent economic growth for Nigeria in 2022, and two point eight per cent in 2023.

The 2022 forecast is higher than the estimated two-point four percent growth in 2021.

The World Bank in its latest Global Economic Prospects report, disclosed that higher oil prices and activities in the telecommunications sector and financial services will drive the growth.
