The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested one Christopher Chiabata for allegedly killing his wife.
Chiabata is alleged to have struck his wife with a pestle during a fight in their home at Onuebum, in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat, told Lasgidi FM News Desk that the suspect attempted to take his own life after killing his wife.
