The Supreme Court has ordered the Federal Government to stop the transfer of about seventeen oil wells from Rivers State to Imo State.
The Apex Court particularly stops the Attorney General of the Federation and the Attorney General of Imo State from taking further action on the ownership of the oil wells located at Akri and Mbede communities.
The Supreme Court order is expected to stay until a case filed by the Rivers State Government over the ownership of the oil wells is settled.
