Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested a fake Army General in Lagos over an alleged two hundred and seventy-million-naira fraud.
The EFCC alleged that the suspect, Bolarinwa Oluwasegun, duped the money from a company known as Kodef Clearing Resources.
The anti-graft agency claimed that Oluwasegun lied to the organization that he had been nominated for appointment as Chief of Army Staff.
The man is also alleged to have shown a forged appointment letter to Kodef Clearing Resources to support his request for a short grant to enable him process the appointment.
