Federal Government evacuates 123 more stranded Nigerians in Ukraine

The Federal Government has brough back one hundred and twenty-three more Nigerians who fled Ukraine amid the invasion of that country by Russia.

The plane carrying the returnees from Warsaw in Poland torched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 1:20am today.

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency and that of other relevant government agencies were on ground to receive the returnees.

In a related development, more Nigerians students stranded in Ukraine have arrived in Budapest, the Hungarian capital.

The Nigeria Ambassador to Hungary, Eniola Olaitan who made this know, said the students will be airlifted to the country tomorrow.

Some of the evacuated students described their experience in Ukraine as sad, claiming that there were racially abused.
