The Federal Government has approved eight point five million US dollars for the evacuation of Nigerians from Ukraine.
The money was approved by the Federal Executive Council during its weekly meeting at the State House in Abuja, which was chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zubairu Dada, said two local airlines – Air Peace and Max Air have been contracted to provide three aircraft for the evacuation.
