The People’s Democratic Party has called on Nigerians to hold the APC Administration under President Muhammadu Buhari responsible for all the problems in the country in the last six years.
The PDP also expect Nigerian citizens not to allow the APC leaders to remain in power and close to the nation’s resources after the 2023 general elections.
This is because the PDP believes that the APC government is providing protection for corrupt officials who steal public funds.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, that party lamented that Nigeria has recorded two severe recessions since 2015 allegedly due to looting.
Ologbondiyan said a recent comment by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on stealing under the APC Administration confirms the PDP’s observations.
Amaechi is reported to have said in an interview with Daily Trust that no individual can steal public funds openly under President BUHARI, adding that anyone who is caught stealing will face the punishment.
