The proposed transfer of Eti-Osa to Epe Administrative Division in Lagos State continues to receive knocks from stakeholders.
The proposal is contained in a bill before the Lagos State House of Assembly, which has already passed second reading.
The President of Eti-osa Heritage Organisation Adewale Sanni said there was no basis for Eti-Osa to be moved to Epe Division.
Adawale Sanni said the fact that the people of Eti-Osa were not consulted makes the proposed move to Epe Division suspicious.
He said if there must be any change, it should be to increase the number of Administrative Divisions in Lagos State due to the growth in population.
