Security operatives arrest 2 persons for producing & selling fake drinks

Security operatives have arrested two suspects in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for allegedly producing and selling fake alcoholic drinks to unsuspecting members of the public.

The suspects are Akhayera Collins and Christian John, who were arrested at their hideout around the Rumuokoro axis of the Rivers State capital.

The spokesman of the state police command, Nnamdi Omoni, disclosed in a statement that the suspects were arrested by a team of policemen led by Superintendent Noble Uwoh.

Omoni said items recovered during the raid include bottles of assorted wines, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages.

He said the suspects have made useful confessions and would be charged to court after investigations have been concluded.
