Former governor of Borno State, Senator Modu Sheriff has formally withdrawn from the national chairmanship race of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Sheriff told journalists in Abuja that he does not want to oppose the zoning formula of the party as they have agreed to zone the position to the north-central.
He thanked his campaign team for their commitment, saying that except the party reviews it’s zoning formula he is no longer contesting.
