PDP presidential aspirants from the Southeast geopolitical zone have agreed to work together towards winning the 2023 presidential election.
One of the aspirants and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, said they reached the agreement during a meeting last week.
Peter Obi said the Southeast aspirants would accept a fair and just decision by the leadership of the PDP in the selection of the party’s presidential candidate.
Peter Obi who was responding to questions on a TV programme monitored in Lagos, advocated the scrapping of the Office of the First Lady as a means to reduce the cost of governance.
