The United States has welcomed the conclusion of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry with the submission of its final report.
The US said that the EndSARS protest and events that took place near the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020 led to serious allegations against some members of the security forces.
The US says it is now looking forward to the response of the Lagos State government as an important process of accountability on the EndSARS protests.
The U.S government said it expects Lagos State and the Federal Government to take suitable actions to address alleged abuses against victims and their families.
