The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Abdulrasheed Bawa as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Bawa appeared before the Senate for screening and told the federal lawmakers about his plans for the EFCC, if his appointment is confirmed.
Bawa said he would be pursuing for the recovery and return of all stolen assets from Nigeria that are hidden in different parts of the world.
The forty-year-old new anti-graft chief said he hopes that his training by the American FBI and the National Crime Agency of United Kingdom would be useful for his new assignment.
